Mediocre sausage rolls, and the burritos they serve are kept in the fridge and microwaved when ordered. To top it off, the burrito was tiny, and didn't even taste good. The prices were also a bit ridiculous.nnI haven't tried their donuts, but I won't be going back to find out how they are.
Best hot dog rolls around. Quick and delicious.
I gave this place a couple tries before forming a final opinion. I think overall, this shop is sub-par. First time I visited, they stuffed six donuts into a little bag and the glaze fell off them and smeared all over the bag. Last time I visited, I got a jelly filled donut which was basically a breadstick (it certainly wasn't an eclair) with two dollops of jelly on the ends, not enough to fill it to the center. Store morale is a little low and unwelcoming. I felt like I was bothering the staff just by walking in. No one greeted me. A lady stocking drinks near the entrance looked at me and said nothing. I had to greet them. I know it was 6am, but still. The donuts also lacked a certain sweetness.nThey're not made with love, only with a burden to run a shop.
Delicious donuts. Enough said.
First impressions of this place are great, kolaches were excellent, service was nice. Easy in, easy out, fun and awesome breakfast.
