Poor service won’t answer phone calls

Lost more in value than charges to move me. do not recommend this mover to anyone who values their belongings!

I had worked with Pioneer Moving in he past at the company that I worked for. So I decided to use them for a personal move and have had BIG regrets on that decision. I asked Tony before the move if they had insurance to cover any damages and was assured that they did. I asked for proof insurance and never received it which should have been reason not to use this company. We met with Tony and agreed on a price for the move including their packing a uhaul that we were driving ourselves prior to their moving our furniture. They had 2 guys that came to load the uhaul and they didn't load everything we requested and the truck was left half empty. We asked several times to add more but they assured us there would be plenty of of room in their truck for everything else on the actual moving day. Well when the actual day came to load everything else in the Pioneer Moving truck, they ran out of room and we had to leave some things behind. There were 6 men that came to load that truck and there was quite a bit of playing around going on. There was a dolly loaded with boxes that was turned over resulting in a box of broken dishes. One of the guys in the truck was tossing things around until I complained and asked who was in charge. I talked with Randy who assured me everything was under control. Yeah right! They decided to drive on to our destination which was 6 hours away and go ahead and unload that same day. They were originally supposed to unload the next day. We ended up with the following items being damaged: 2 leather recliners, triple dresser, bedside table, broken dining chair, side by side refrigerator door broken and broken dishes. Randy was very aware of how upset we were over the damage and told me to call Tony at their office to work out what we needed to do to file an insurance claim. I left messages for someone at Pioneer to call me and after 3 messages, I finally got Tony on the phone. He told me he would be sending me insurance information so we could file a claim. It's been 6 months since the move and we still haven't received anything from him and calls aren’t returned. I wouldn’t recommend Pioneer Moving in Kerrville to anyone. Hate to give them even 1 star. Can’t trust anyone anymore - get proof of insurance.

Scam artists. While researchign moving companies numerous stories came out about movers overcharging and changin price on site for pick and delivery. Whatever they quote be careful there will be an additional charge at the time of pick up and delivery for what I can only asuume is extra money for the crew. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
