Macias moving company moved my wife and I a short distance. When I spoke with Armando he said they would send three people at $75 an hour. We had a lot of merchandise and loose items that needed to be packed. Only two people showed up. Albeit they we polite and courteous Armando vastly underestimated the amount of work needed to be done. They started at 8am and ended at 10pm We were charged over $1000. The kicker is that they left a good amount of stuff that needed to be moved. Armando did offer to go get it but you could tell they were tired and it would’ve taken another couple of hours adding to our expense. I declined which meant I had to spend two hours the next day moving items that should’ve been moved in the first place. If they would’ve shown up with three people like what was explained the expense would’ve been less. Also a lot of the boxes had stuff from multiple rooms and were mislabeled adding to unneeded confusion when unpacking. Bottom line. These guys are nice and work hard but I believe we were over charged by a couple hundred dollars in our dealings.
