Think twice before you book her for your cake. 1. I ordered a 3 tier cake for my wedding. When I walked out to cut my cake, it was 2 tiers. Apparently, the bottom layer didn’t make it and she just cut it up and decided to serve it (without offering me a discount or an apology) or even TELLING ME. So I was COMPLETELY BLINDSIDED until I walked up to CUT my cake. She was also apparently late delivering the cake, which I found out from my florist. It was a very frustrating experience considering how much we paid for a beautiful 3 tier cake and then were delivered a 2 tier cake which was pretty but underwhelming and honestly I was terrified there wasn’t enough cake for everyone because I had no idea what the heck was happening because she did not communicate with us about anything that happened. For the ICING on the CAKE ~ ironic ~ we used the wood cake round that specifically stated on the bottom to return within 24 hrs, and we were traveling / leaving to go on our honeymoon so obviously wanted to get rid of the dang thing, and she was being impossible to get ahold of, figure out where to drop off the cake round. Then she told me we could drop it off that day and turned around and told my new husband it would be “better” for her if we brought it by the next day... when we are trying to leave for our honeymoon. 1. We definitely should have gotten a partial refund for the cake malfunction and 2. No one should ever be that difficult to communicate with in the wedding industry

She did an amazing job! Very accommodating of our wants and needs, and was very flexible with a new request on delivery. We had nothing but compliments on how cute and how amazing tasting the cake was. Best tasting cake I've ever had, I was a little upset my wife sent a lot of it home with our guests rather than letting me have it. Would purchase from her again in a heartbeat.

I can't thank Annette enough for making my grand-daughter's dream of having the beautiful Mermaid cake for her 4th birthday come true! My granddaughter saw the mermaid cake online when she was 3.5 years old, and when her 4th birthday was approaching, she reminded me of that mermaid cake! I live on the east coast, but called Annette any way to see if she would ship the cake and thankfully she agreed. She took great care to make sure the cake was perfect, from the frosting colors and mermaid top, to ensuring that the shipping was successful. The cake arrived intact and was more beautiful in person. It was incredibly moist and delicious, with a hint of cherry that was over the top. Thank You Annette!

I reached at to Taylor Made Cakes and asked if she could make a cake for my husband’s military retirement. It was about two weeks before so I was understanding if it couldn’t be done, but she said it was no problem. It was also more than I have ever spent on a cake, but I thought it would be worth it if I got the cake I was asking for. I will say this the cake tasted great, no complaints there. However, it cost close to $300 and didn’t look professional at all! It didn’t look even somewhat close to the picture I sent, which I would have been fine with had it still looked professional. The back section of the cake had fondant splitting apart. Everyone at the party, after being upset, ended up just laughing about it because that’s all we could do really. I think my 10 year old would have done better. When I picked it up I think I was just in shock, she told me to sign for it and I left. I reached out after and expressed my concerns and all I got was excuses and no offer of any kind of refund or apologies. In fact she told me she should have charged me a rush fee! Needless to say we will be looking other places next time we need a cake. This is my first time ever even leaving review and I wish I didn’t have feel the need to! Cake on the left is what I got, cake on the right was what I asked for.

Visited Fri evening I think. Bring your hunger - portions are large. Reminds me of a place in New York I liked to visit.
