My son and I go to the Layton Menchie's at least once a week. I love that they have low carb and sugar free options. I do have a problem with one of their employees who does not wear a mask. The other employees follow the health department guidance but twice in 2 weeks I have encountered one that does not. Yesterday she told me it was up to the individual employee. Not according to the Davis County health department. I don't want to eat yogurt where the employees have been openly breathing over the cups and then over the yogurt itself while its being weighed and paid for. I know I can ask for a lid but that's a waste of plastic when the employees should just follow the rules. All the customers I observed were wearing masks for her protection. We will not be spending money here.

Usually flawless experience, this time, almost zero dessert topics and no fruit toppings whatsoever. Then when it came time to weigh they want you to leave the toppings in the container to be weighed with your yogurt, alongside some cheap store bought plastic spoons. Come on guys youre better than that

Very clean and organized location. They do an excellent job handling the COVID-19 situation by having all guests use sanitizer and then gloves to serve their yogurt. Then toppings are in individual containers. The only thing I'd like them to do is to have smaller cups for kids. I think we average about 7-8 bucks when kids do their own.

This is a fun place to take the kids but remember it's all self-serve and little ones will likely need some assistance dispensing the ice cream and scooping toppings. I had a couple small kids with me on a busy Saturday and it was a little stressful to get their masterpieces put together without holding up the whole line. The restaurant is clean and the ice cream was great. I got the roasted marshmallow flavored I've cream and I'd recommend it. I didn't use the bathrooms myself but my son did and he said "I don't think they ever clean those toilets..." Ha ha.
