Havertys Furniture

It seems to be an ongoing series of poor customer service since the day we placed our orders. We first purchased a sectional and then a few days later went in and bought a rug, rug pad, and 6 custom pillows. The first mishap was while we were checking out, a lesser rug pad was brought to the counter. If I had not caught it we would have left with something less than what we purchased. Next one happened a few days later when we arrived to pick up the rug. It was the floor model so we were told it would be taken down and readied for us to pick up. When we arrived, much time was spent first looking in the back for the rug and then it was determined that it had never been taken off the floor. I had to wait for the manager to make all that happen. What should have been a 15 minute pick up turned well over an hour. Next, I received a message that my pillows had arrived. I went in and signed at the desk and then went around the back to retrieve them. After much searching, it turned out only 4 of the 6 actually arrived and in the 3rd package there was just a bolt of fabric. Again, what should have been a 15 minute pick up lasted well over 30. Because I had already electronically signed, I had to get copies of the paperwork signed that I only received 4. Lastly, the sectional I ordered in January and was set for delivery was told to me that I will have to wait till mid July now. I only got this information because I asked while signing for the pillows. I never received any communication from the store and, in fact, did receive an email from my sales person saying that there had been no changes to my order timeframe. I wonder if I hadn’t asked, if I ever would be informed. 4 months is a long time to wait for furniture but 6 is a bit ridiculous. Had I been told that at the beginning, and had I known that the customer service would be so poor, I would have shopped elsewhere.nI have been shopping happily at Havertys for years and am truly disappointed with this experience. I hope these matters are addressed for your future customers. I, however, will most likely not be one of them.

Super nice service, not pushy. Scot was nice. The selection and quality was great. I loved the qr codes so we could see it online. We were in and out in a hurry and found what we loved!

My wife and I had just purchased a home and our in laws had recommended Havertys for furniture. On Saturday, we spent over 2 hours with salesman Francesco, Scott and designer Francis. It could not have been a better experience. We purchased a living room set and a bedroom set so far and will be using their team to help us furnish the rest of our home. They deserve every bit of our 5 star rating.

My shopping experience was fine but I thought the delivery fee of $149.99 for my sofa is a bit excessive.
