I bought a power-reclining sectional in September. It was my first purchase here, and I had high hopes. The showroom had a good selection, and it was a fairly easy experience to pick out the piece we wanted, and get it ordered. Unfortunately, after using the sectional, shortly after it arrived, we noticed that one of the recliners exhibiting one side drooping heavily as it reclined, and the mechanism was clearly broken. After sending Hanks photos of the damage, and a follow-up call, I was promised that it would be replaced. That was October.. It is now December, and it's still broken and nobody has tried to reach out with at least an update. Do I regret purchasing at Hanks now? Yes.. yes I do.. :(
A nice furniture store. The store is very large. One thing you might want to bring is a tape measure.The staff is nice, and not forceful like at some other furniture stores. They can (and probably will) chat with you for a while. I would recommend this store.
One issue after another. Not being told the correct information on delivery and replacement of the damaged furniture.nWaiting to see what condition the replacement furniture will arrive in and when.nStaff seems to be helpful but you just don’t know who to believe.
My mom and I stopped by to look for a bedroom set to update my room. We were welcomed by Earl Adams a few minutes after walking in! He is super welcoming and such a sweet guy! He has a really good sense of humor too! He helped us figure out all of the details with buying mattresses, finding the right pillow/mattress, and bed frames! The store isn’t in the best location but the people are super helpful and nice and the store is very clean with a decent/good selection!
I would be hesitant to buy from them. When I purchased a recliner from one of the store reps, we talked about delivering the item and then made the purchase. I was under the impression it was being delivered with the price that was purchased. Come to find out, it was an extra $150 to deliver it or the sales rep was going to find a store employee to deliver it but would have to pay the person $50 cash. When speaking with another person at the counter when we decided to pick it up, he was defending the actions of the initial sales representative. I will definitely not be making any future purchases from this business ever again.
