So nice to get out of St Peter’s and see the South City ambiance. Incredible food, attentive staff, able to eat outside with heated space, desserts decadent! I ordered the lentil and apples salad, meatloaf, creamy mashed potatoes topped with fried scallions. Dessert was Lemon Blueberry Cheesecake. Took enough home for another meal!

An amazing breakfast with a great patio. Try to make reservations to avoid the wait. Always a variety of specials. Just with they had more vegetarian options. If you want a drink with brunch I would recommend a mimosa over a bloody mary.

St Louis has many wonderful neighborhood restaurants and bars and Russell’s on Macklind is one of the best. With indoor and outdoor seating areas you can enjoy a great fall evening and a wonderful meal. I had the bacon wrapped meatloaf and it was delicious. Their Sangria is great as well. Without a doubt, their dessert selection is second to none. We went early to avoid the typical crowd, so be sure to get reservations if you go later in the evening.

Delicious food with fresh ingredients. Everything is locally sourced and it really does make a big difference. Would recommend this place to anyone, I absolutely love going here! Great for coffee or a nice dinner date.

Have not gone back. Portions are tiny. For a 17.00 lunch “special” I got a couple tablespoons of soup and a fourth of a sandwich on dry inedible bread. People in the neighborhood rate it high because it is a neighborhood place. The desserts are it’s only saving grace in my opinion. Service was not even fair either. Was a far better place when it was the Macklind Coffee House.
