As a donut lover who has had many many donuts over the years, the cinnamon sugar sourdough donuts at Knead are the best I've ever had. And the coffee is pretty dang good too. If we lived in St Louis I would eat here everyday.

Great place, and super nice people. There are very, very few places in St. Louis for great bread. UL is my go-to, but now I'll add Knead to that list. Will definitely come back and try a sandwich next time. Oh, and the bacon and cheese kolache was amazing; light and airy with great crispness to the sides, quite unlike the heavier versions I've had at various kolache places in town. Highly recommend.

Small local bakery serving up sourdough classics. The kolaches are to die for. Very flavorful. The coffee is also good. The donuts are all very good. Please beware they are sourdough so the dough is a bit chewy compared to other donuts around, but the flavor is spot on.

Had the turkey bacon ranch sandwich and a chocolate chip cookie. Wasn’t impressed at all with my sandwich. The bread was so thick I couldn’t taste anything but the dry bread. Had to toss half the bread to just taste the sandwich. Wasn’t worth $14. The chocolate chip was a big disappointment. Nothing like getting a burnt cookie. Only could eat half of it. Way better places to eat in south city. For a bakery I would of expected the bread not be dry and the chocolate chip cookie not be burnt. Wasn’t worth the $21 I spent. The chips were good tho.

we tried the chocolate sourdough donut and the peach pastry. the peach one had some sort of citrus in it :( the chocolate donut was WAY too greasy and airy. didn’t like the pastries. kinda expensive though too. not sure we’ll be back...
