Great place! The staff is very friendly, everything is super clean and covid safe, which is great. They take appointments and it's a great way spend an afternoon getting a Mani-pedi with a friend. Which I recommend following up with lunch at the White Oak Tavern right up the road in the enchanted forest shopping center.
This is the first time I come to Blue Ocean Nail and Spa in Ellicott City MD. Ms. Nancy did my pedicure and she was amazing she did a very professional and welldone job. Definitely will come back.
The staff was very friendly. Emily was phenomenal and I was very satisfied with my mani/pedi. Really clean & nice location!
I have been going to Blue Ocean Nails for a few years now and I have always enjoyed my visits and received excellent service. I went in on Friday August 21st for a Ocean Deluxe pedicure and while I was a bit nervous give our current situation, I really needed it and wanted to relax. My provider was very attentive and gave me an excellent pedicure. Unfortunately the surroundings were unacceptable. A patron across from me, who was also getting an extended pedicure, proceeded to talk on her phone - on speaker phone - the entire time I was receiving my service. There are clearly hung signs indication you are NOT to be on your phone. I asked my provider if she was supposed to be on her phone and why is she still on her phone? She was given lots of looks but neither my provider, the provider doing her pedicure or the management who walked by said a word. She placed three calls and talked on speakerphone for over 30 minutes. If you are going to allow patron's to talk on their phones please take down your signs indicating no cell phone use. The pedicure was not relaxing and the staff accepted this patron's rudeness and inability to follow the rules. So disappointed! To be clear, I am giving 3 stars only because my actual provider gave an excellent pedicure.
I’ve been coming here for years and have tried many other nail salons in the area. Blue Ocean has always been my favorite. I have seen several different technicians here and they are all great. Everyone is friendly, talented, and very clean. I see Ann every two-three weeks for a pedicure and SNS nails and she is absolutely wonderful. She has a very gentle touch, gives such a relaxing massage, and is extremely meticulous when doing my nails. They always look perfect! Nothing but good things to say about Blue Ocean.
