My wife and I were looking for the perfect dining set. After walking into Conn's and looking at a few bedroom sets we were approached by Corey Hayes when we had made it to the dining sets. Corey laid out all the credit options, and gave us a recommendation that worked for us. The dining set we wanted initially was the last one on hand with no idea when he was going to get another, so we choose something else. We also found a bed frame and dresser that fit our needs. Corey was happy to answer our questions and set our expectations, while remaining cheerful, patient and humorous. I stopped counting how many times he had to walk across the floor, but he always returned with a smile. Will be shopping with him again!nnLooking forward to adding some positive comments about delivery.
This store does not deliver on it's promises. It's price guarantee and financing feels too much like bait and switch. They have the product I want but the terms are not good. If you are lucky they discuss added fees on financing that are not found in ads or website. This origination fee is described as additional interest verbally. The product was offered interest free for 36 months. I told them what I wanted up front. The account that the salesperson applied for in the deal is only 12 mos. The manager and another sales person said they are trained not to disclose such items. I'm thinking this is dishonest and will cancel the order. Don't be taken for a ride.
I bought a TV from here and it was defective so I called the store the next morning and the manager gave me the service center number. The service center said I had to let a technician come out to see if they could fix it before I could exchange it. The three days later I get a call from the people trying to schedule the tech to come out and they asked me why didn't I just take it back and exchange it because it was within the 24 hour time frame. The store told me I couldn't. Well he put it in the system for an exchange and it was approved immediately. When I returned the TV the following day, I was greeted with snide remarks and the feeling like they thought I was trying to get over on them. They practically threw the new set in the back of my truck and disappeared. I will say that Conn's as a company is a great but the Montgomery location is horrible. I wish I could give it zero stars.
The products are nice! But please pay attention to the fine print.
The saleswoman did a wonderful job helping me make my bedroom selection, from explaining differences it mattresses to getting the most for my money. For a person starting over again , she made the furniture shopping experience pleasant.
