Sam's Club

Not overly crowded, most of the staff were friendly. And the check-out was pretty fast.

They were out of some products that I needed. However, the things they had in stock were presented well.

I love going to Sam's Club. I used to belong to Costco when we lived in San Antonio. Sadly, there isn't one in the Shreveport-Bossier area, so really Sam's Club is your only option for buying in bulk. I had never tried Sam's previously. I joined up a few months ago and although it is a smaller store than a typical Costco most of the items you need for your home can be found here, just on a smaller scale. The location is conveniently located in Bossier off of Airline Drive. Parking is never an issue and everything I've purchased in Sam's has been a good value from the spices, to sauces, canned goods, meats, bread, fresh veggies and frozen foods. The part I like best about Sam's is that their app is a scanner so as you shop, you barscan each item with the app bar scanner and it all gets added to your 'cart'. This way, I can both keep track of how much I'm spending and instead of standing in line at checkout, when I'm done I just pay in the app and walk out the door! If you've ever had to stand in those long checkout lines at the grocery store or at a Costco, being able to do all that from an app is such a time-saver! Overall, I'm pleased with our membership experience at Sam's. The store seems well-managed and very clean. The people who work there are also super friendly. So, again location is good. Parking is never been an issue so far and the store is a great place to buy in bulk save money, and perhaps even more important nowadays, limit the number of trips you have to take to go out for food and potential exposure to things like COVID, or the flu.

Sam's is great. Now that we have a bigger family, it makes it much easier to buy groceries in bulk and save money. They also have a great selection of chicken and meats. The beef is great. Their prime beef is wonderful and the cowboy ribeyes are amazing.
