I used to buy things from Lowe’s because it is close to my home but Not any more. I bought a water filter for my Samsung refrigerator from Buford Lowe’s in November last year. I was not sure which one so checked with a person working at Home Appliance section. I gave him the model code and he picked one for me. The reason I bought it early, even though I may not use it until now, was because worried about availability when I need it due to Pandemic. I kept the receipt and tried to use it yesterday. It turns out that he gave me a wrong one. So I went to the Lowe’s to return and get a right one. However, the customer service wouldn’t give me money back because it’s over 90 days. I asked for store credit so I would get a right one. But I was refused. Understand that it was for a while since I bought it. BUT it was a person at Lowe’s picked for me. There is no “90 Day” return policy on receipt. Instead it just says check the website for returns. Nobody use a water filter for a refrigerator everyday. Now I have to throw away a brand new water filter for nothing and wasted over $50. It is partially my fault because bought it too early and didn’t check the website for return policy. However, it was Lowe’s employee’s mistake. I just asked for Store Credit but refused. Anyway, I will go to Homedepot from now on. Even if it is about one more mile to drive.

Worst customer service ever! They had to call three times to get help on a Monday afternoon when the store was dead! Still no one came! I finally called the store on my phone and they called for a fourth time over the intercom for a supervisor! Still no one showed! Horrible! If I did not need this I desperately I would never shop at this location!

I visited on a Friday afternoon and the store was really messy. I was looking for packing and moving supplies. I stopped and asked an associate where to find them. She was not sure, but found somebody who knew and directed me to the right location. I selected my items and realized I needed a shopping cart. I passed several shopping carts that were loaded with merchandise that look like perhaps it was being put away. There were very few associates on the floor.

Bad customer service, I came early this morning at 7:50 to buy some stones for my garden, but there is no cashier outside at the garden area so I asked one of the helper there and she sent me to the customer service, when I went to the customer service (Jamaica terminal #39) sent me back to the garden, I went out but still no cashier there so I went back to the customer service again and she (Jamaica) said this job is belong to the garden and she didn’t want to ring up for me. I asked her what is your customer service for...but finally she is the one who checked me out because no one else at the time can do it. Why did she give people hard time and she know what to do as a customer service.
