The officers were very helpful...clear communication is essential in dealing with an arrest of a family member or any problematic issue. I was stopped by an officer a few nights before due to a failure to fully stop at the Sign. He was very courteous but also professional and concise. I appreciate the hard work our sheriff and deputies do.
My experience dates back to October 2019. I just discovered today I could leave a review. My mother had been ill for the past couple years and I was her caretaker. On Sunday October 6th, I went to check on her and she had passed away. The line was busy so I jumped in the car and went to the Sheriff's Dept. There were 2 Deputies in the parking lot. They escorted me back to the house. At some point the Paramedics and the Coroner arrived. After my mother was declared there was a time period of waiting for the funeral home. The 4 deputies and Sheriff Hank Lynch and the Coroner were kind enough to wait with me and tell me funny stories to keep me laughing and preoccupied allowing me to NOT focus on the fact my mother was just on the other side of the wall deceased. Once the Funeral Home showed, Sheriff Hank Lynch waited for me to lock up her house and to set the alarms etc. I have been selling furniture and things on FB Marketplace and the Sheriff has been really good at checking on me or sending a deputy to the home when I have people coming to the house to make a purchase. I want to thank tham all for their kindness and going beyond the call of duty! It was greatly appreciated.
