Volusia County Towing

Would 10/10 NEVER recommend this company. As a business owner I was completely appalled by the way things were handled. The guy at the counter was a nice guy and it was not his personal fault but whoever owns or runs this company should be ashamed. I am on vacation, My car was towed from my hotel because I didn’t have a parking pass and I 100% didnt mind paying to get it out- the towing company was just doing their job. What I do have a problem with is that I had the hotel call the towing company and they handed me the phone- whoever I talked to at the towing company told me I owed “150 you must bring cash only and exact change”. So when I show up they say I owe $186 and change- I literally only had $156 on me because I was told 150 exact change cash only. So the counter guy spoke to a manager and they absolutely would not honor that price or work with me at all. So I had to have my ride turn around and come pick me back up we had to find an ATM and go back. As a business owner I would NEVER tell a client the wrong price and then when they show up to pay for it - tell them a different price and not accept any OTHER form of payment. When they told me the WRONG PRICE. ESPECIALLY DURING A GLOBAL PANDEMIC AND NATIONAL CASH SHORTAGE. If you are a business owner looking to use this company- I would highly suggest taking your business elsewhere. This company has horrible customer service.

Worst towing service place. Worst drivers. They scratched my car, tried telling me it's not there fault what happens between receiving the tow and dropping it off.

I know when people get their cars towed they can be generally unhappy but I'd like to report a huge thank you for this professional tow company. We had one of our company tow trucks stolen (we're not competitors, we're in the repossession business) and people from Volusia County Towing scoured the Daytona Beach area on a volunteer basis...and FOUND IT. It had been stolen and stashed at an apartment complex off Beville. They contacts our office, and the Daytona Beach PD, and really did an awesome job helping another local business out of a tough situation. Hats off to Volusia County Towing.
