Publix is a great place to shop. Killing people in the bakery who give you free cookies for your kids, down to the people that actually make your sub sandwich. Prices are a little bit higher but you pay for the service that you receive their as well and the products are much better quality. All the employees seem eager to help and don't mind you're going to hurt your hand when you need it.
We bought 6 interior doors and gave the associate the sizes. He got all correct but one so we had to take it back and get the correct size. We also bought a front door and the associate got the wrong door so again we had to return it. All that said the store worked to get the errors corrected and went out of their way to ensure we got what we wanted quickly. Everyone was friendly. The store was clean and associates were available to help.
It is a pretty good store. Old guy in Electrical clearly doesn't like his job and was not interested in answering questions or helping. Second time I've had that experience when asking where something was or a recommendation on a project. With the same guy no less. But there wasn't anyone else to ask. Products are fine.
Help on the floor was very hard to get today. Summer merchandise on sale was still only maybe 5-10% less.
Wow, did I get lucky by asking John in Lumber for assistance and his opinion on a project I was planning on doing. John has a phenomenal sense of customer service, he helped me from beginning to end with every possible equipment and material need for my project. I couldn't be more grateful!! Thank you John!!!
