Leonard's Bakery Malasada Truck

This food truck is not too crowded. There were a few other people but we quickly got our food! Considering it's a food truck, they didn't have all the flavors that you would get in their store. For example, the lilikoi filled one was not available. But even the original was pretty good. A nice choice

This was number one item in our food list for Hawaii and we were happy. We couldn’t go to the bakery but went to couple of their food trucks. They had selected items, we enjoyed their malasada, specially with coconut filling and custard filling. They had big lines both times but prices are very reasonable and worth the wait, good snacks for long drives!

I never leave reviews but whoever was working with me and my family was about the worst customer service gets. Didn’t speak to us at ALL even to confirm the orders. Got two of the 6 puffs wrong.. we go up to let him know very politely.. he glared took them and we thought he made it right but it was still wrong. (Just wanted two chocolate puffsud83dude44) happened two more times and with customers waiting on him. We left because they were mediocre anyway. The good things we heard must’ve been from the actual bakery. Very disappointed.

Came based on recommendations from friends. They Got our order wrong twice and we were extremely polite approaching them asking for the right flavors, and the cashier at the time must have made an honest mistake but would not fix it. He said he fixed it, but whatever fix he did still left us with the wrong order. He accused us of calling him crazy and made it an extremely unpleasant experience that we were excited about. Not sure what is wrong with expecting what you paid for, but be prepared not to get any help if you don’t get it!!!

This page says “Saturday hours: 9-5” but we were just there (Hawaii Kai) at 4:05 and the cashier helped the 3 customers in front of us, then closed his window on us saying “we closed!” We were the last in line. When I showed him the hours posted he said “I no care! We closed” and slammed the window closed on us. Wonder why he still has a job?! I’ll never be back. Rudest experience ever. You’re better off at Dunkin’s!
