Glorious area with hot springs and hiking galore. Also lots of rock climbing options in nearby el rito, of that is your thing. Many family owned pizza and Mexican restaurants, As well as a delicious Cuban food truck outside of the entrance to the Ojo Caliente Hot Springs. This is an area with something for everyone. Camp at nearby lake Abiqui. We'd found it quite peaceful!

Just steps away from the Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs Resort, the trails are are not difficult. The vistas are wonderful! The terrain and the vegetation is varied making for an interesting hike. The historical ruins/pottery shards are fascinating.
