I went into the store with my boyfriend who is actively in the military. The store advertises 10% off for members of our military. My boyfriend shows his military ID and the employee refused to give the 10% because his phone number wasn’t in the system and apparently employees cannot add it. We were told the ID gets linked to a rewards card and his military status is verified through a third party. The employees apparently cannot “verify” an active military ID with their eyes but a computer can verify it and then we can pass the card around to everyone we know to get 10% off instead of giving us 10% on our small order that was under $25. Did not realize veterans somehow don’t count as veterans without a Lowe’s rewards card. Never had this problem at Home Depot.

It's an average Lowe's... I know that if I need detailed help that I have to go to Home Depot. But it's the only big box store near New Paltz. I know that at Home Depot they take you to what you need and can help you with your project. At Lowe's you have to be grateful for a finger point.

My local Lowes was out of stock on an item so I have to order and pick up from this one. Overall very good service. They brought the item(which is kinda heavy) to the parking lot and loaded to my car. Appreciate it!
