Really don't even rate the 1 star visited the village inn on o st in Lincoln had about a 10 min wait to get seated then after being seated sat there for an additional 20 min with nobody once coming over to ask if we wanted anything to drink. The manager im guessing had walked by multiple times nothing said. Then when we got up to leave he then asked if anybody had waited on us. I replied nope and got fabulous. My bet i will never set foot in there ever and will let everyone i know about the experience.
Stopped in for pie and coffee. Service was good, coffee was good. Pie was good but too rich and I couldn't finish it. They need senior slices of pie!
The strawberry crepes & creme filling were good but could be served warmer! The drizzle of strawberry syrup was just right, not overpowering the crepes! My husband enjoyed his omelet & cheese-topped hash browns!
On a Sunday morning you expect to wait to be seated, but once I sit down waiting 10 min before anyone even talks to me is crazy. I had to ask the host and at that point the waitress heard me say something and proceeded to make comments to other tables. Great Sunday morning.
Food was excellent. My large to-go order had nothing missing and was still hot when I got it home.nnMy only issue was that my side of fruit came in a cup that wasn't even filled halfway but everything else was great.
