I have had children taking piano lessons from Neuenschwander Music Studio for about 7 years. Laurissa is an excellent piano teacher. She is professional, kind, and dedicated to helping her students enjoy music and progress in their musical abilities. Laurissa carefully selects music that challenges students and helps them to progress. Laurissa teaches students to play with correct technique as well as a beautiful sound and expression. I highly recommend Neuenschwander Music Studio.
I couldn't be happier with the experience we've had here. We started lessons a few months ago and we have been nothing but pleased. I would recommend to anyone that is looking for a quality, kind, and professional instructor.
Laurissa has been teaching my girls piano for several years now (ages 7 and 9). From the beginning she has made learning piano fun for them! She has helped my girls learn to shape their music, work on musicality and technique all while playing pieces they really enjoy. Laurissa also doesn’t make them feel bad about mistakes they make - she has always been there to help them. She helps my girls figure out what the piano pieces they are playing mean to them and how you can change the feeling of a song just by your emotion while playing it. My girls are excited to practice and show Laurissa what they accomplish each week. I highly recommend her as a piano teacher.
