10/23: AddendumnThe owner, Brian, contacted me to discuss my dissatisfaction with the cake I recently purchased. He apologized, and was empathetic to my situation. It was obvious he values his customers. Great service recovery. I'm not giving up on Bakers Nook, their cakes are normally delicious.n10/20:nPurchased a two tiered cake with strawberry filling, for a baby shower. There was the thinnest layer of filling and the cake had very little flavor. This was not the usual quality of Bakers Nook Cakes, when I spoke with Ann at Bakers Nook, she advised me they put a thin layer of filling in the two tiered cakes, as the layers can slide when customers transport them. She also told me that there was plenty of frosting on the outside to give it flavor. I should have been advised that there would be very little filling on this cake. It was obvious that Ann was not concerned about my dissatisfaction. I've been purchasing Bakers Nook cakes for over 20 years. I'm very disappointed in their customer service.
Awesome shop! They have all the tools needed for all of your baking needs and wants! Plenty of options as well. Staff are always pleasant and willing to offer advice.
