I ordered an original pressing of Pink Floyd's The Wall and not only did it ship promptly from Chicago to LA, but it arrived quickly and with zero issues. They also messaged me saying I could get $25 of insurance for $1. Great deal. The record arrived in the near mint condition as described, and even came with new sleeves so I don't have to ruin the originals. Of my pretty large collection, this is one of the best sounding records I have, despite it being 42 years old. Long story short, I am very impressed with Checkered Records.

Awesome experience with this company. As a newbie to vinyl I took a stab at one of their mystery lots and was pleasantly surprised. All of the titles were amazing and in very good or better condition. The selection contained various music types that expanded my love for the world of music. Very satisfied customer!

First order went great. The attention to detail is incredible. Even though I have to return a few albums do to condition, the over all experience has been really good. I have never purchased anything based on price alone. And thou Checkered records have good prices, service and honesty are much more important to me. And this company seems to practice that like few others. They will certainly get more orders from mennThanks Scott great doing business with younnUpdate on my review. Excellent local family run vinyl shop I can recommend with 100 pct certainty. Scott - the owner - was incredibly helpful and friendly in ensuring my on line purchase of a gift album would be shipped quickly and safely to a friend - and if that's not enough to get your attention ... wait for it... their inventory is amazing (as an example, here I found, and bought, my friend a first year pressing of Meddle by Pink Floyd). SCORE! - speaking of score - reminds me of the fans' football chant featured at the end of the song Fearless on this album. Kismet : ). Checkered Record's attention to quality is also top notch.
