This review is about the service, not how the cakes and other items taste. I contacted this bakery to order a gender reveal cake. We got all of the details together via email (because she has never answered the phone any time I called) and we set a date for me to come in to drop off the gender information. I know we set a date because I specifically asked if me coming in that day would give her enough time to make the cake since I would need to pick it up soon after. Ms. Moore (or whoever responds to the emails) said yes and agreed to me coming in that day. Fast forward, my husband and I drive out of our way to the bakery when Google says the business is open...we also called before we left, but again she never answers the phone...and they were closed! I called and emailed and no response. She finally responded to my email an hour later and did issue us a refund, but not before she tried to blame the mix up on me. I will never try to support this business again. The customer service is POOR.

I called EMC on Saturday 11:40am and talked to customer service about an 8” birthday cake that I needed on Monday afternoon. I knew this was going to be a challenge since most cake bakeries are closed on Sundays and Mondays. EMC is opened both days. At that time, I was not informed that Monday would be a problem. I was asked to send an email to EMC, specifying the type of cake, which I promptly sent on Saturday 11:50am via the link on their website. I received no response and decided to call with follow up on Sunday (24 hours later). I was met with total surprise and informed that filling the order under such a short timeframe would be impossible. Had that been clearly stated when I first called, or had I received a prompt email response, I would have made other arrangements. Totally unprofessional.

What a fantastic experience!! The staff was incredibly professional, respectful and quick to respond to my cake request, and was able to deliver it to my friend's house when I couldn't go in person. My friend sent me a picture of the cake and it was BEAUTIFUL! She loved it!! Would absolutely recommend and order from again!
