Decent selection, good if you're lookin for popular rock and roll or popular music from the 60s 70s and 80s. Not great if you hope to find a big selection of anything else. Although there will be some comedy records. There is an extensive clearance section underneath but you will rarely find anything you will want. The prices are fair though. On everything. The only time prices will get high is when a sought after band comes in, say the Grateful Dead. In McHenry, you won't see a lot of that. And people will buy it right away. So naturally a record you may see for 40 will be 30 in the city. But, at least it's not 100 bucks like Siren will do to you.

Like a trip in a time machine back to my parents basement in 1972! Awesome seeing some old vinyl I haven't laid eyes on in years. Purchased a couple albums from the friendly staff. Thanks! Will be back.

1st time visit today and it was awesome! Owner and coworker were super easy to talk to and don't hover over your shoulder the whole time. Excellent selection of all types of music and the condition of the records are damn near mint. I'll DEFINITELY be going back to this gem. ud83dudc4d

Good selection but the staff was in back when we tried to check out and stood there for awhile waiting for them.
