My son has been studying drums with Karl Killer for almost 2 years, and in that time his skills and confidence in school bands have improved dramatically. Karl was recommended by my cousin, a former student and now professional musician. So, my expectations were high, and Karl has exceeded them. In all my family's experiences with Karl, he has been a dedicated and capable instructor, a reliable and accommodating professional, and an excellent human being. He has pushed my son's progress, and he's kept consistent, effective lessons safely available in person and virtually. I strongly recommend Killer Drums to any aspiring drummer of any age.

Karl is absolutely phenomenal with my daughter. She looks forward to her drum lessons all week. He makes the lessons educational while keeping them fun. She gets better every week. I’ll also say that Karl is just a genuinely nice person. He was willing to provide lessons for free during the pandemic for people who were financially struggling. This was despite his own business struggling due to the pandemic. You can tell he really cares about his craft and his customers. He’s awesome!

Karl is the best! My son loves taking lessons from Karl. Even if it's just doing rudiments and practicing on pads Karl has the ability to get through to his students and make the lessons fun at the same time. On top of that he is very professional and just an all around likeable guy. I would highly recommend Karl to anybody interested in learning or even improving on the drums.

My 13 year old son has been taking lessons with Karl Killer for just about two months. He was brand new to the instrument but is loving it and practicing on his own thanks to Karl’s guidance and encouragement. Karl is personable, fun, thorough and professional in his approach. I took drum lessons for years with Karl! He is the absolute best! He is super patient with his students, kind, funny, and a very talented drummer. I am very grateful for having the opportunity to take lessons from Karl at his studio. He has a wide drumming background suited for any type of drummer, which I loved since I could learn and play a jazz song with him one lesson, then completely switch to prog rock the next lesson!
