I was under the impression that my masseuse was a student. The therapeutic deep tissue massage I requested felt like just an average relaxation massage by a student. There are better places in Tuscaloosa if you want a real deep tissue therapeutic massage that will leave you feeling amazing.
Great pre-natal massage!
One of the best decisions of my life. This academy hosts a very well rounded curriculum. As a former student, I highly recommend visiting. Students are well trained and fully prepared to pass the mblex and be successful upon graduation. They treat their students like family and support you through your education. A lot of care is placed in the quality of the atmosphere and I can honestly say I miss my days in school. (Yes, you read that correctly). It was actually fun and my classmates were the best. I strongly urge you to visit, whether it be as a potential student or if you go for a massage, you won't be disappointed.
I genuinely can't praise this place enough. The staff is courteous and friendly, and the students providing the massages have never been anything short of polite, professional, and darn good at what they do. I always leave relaxed, and already eager to schedule my next appointment.
I attended this school in hopes of entering the workforce with knowledge and confidence and that is exactly what i have. I have also been a client at the school and the prices and professionalism cannot be beat anywhere else. I recommend this school to everyone as a place to go for massage or education.
