My grandfather is a war veteran and served as the chief of the fire department for 40+ years. He and men of service were showed absolutely no respect by this company. We were assured a tent would be available for his service. We arrived to his grave sight with no tent and the Air Force service men that were there to honor him standing in the pouring rain. Then we had to cover my grieving grandmother in umbrellas so she could lay my grandfather to rest. We watched as the service men took the rain soaked flag and folded it in honor of him while the rain poured. Our service was rushed and then my grandfathers casket was left in the rain after we left. This company took one of the hardest days of my life and filled it full of rage because of the blatant disrespect for my Grandfather. Not only was the funeral a show of their lack of sympathy but the entire process was horrible. They treat the entire process as a sales pitch. She tried to have us “lock in the price” for my grandmother and mother future burial. My grandparents had already purchased their plots years ago and they informed The staff of Memorial Funeral home that we had a vault already from when they purchased their plots. They restated the fact that we had a vault already for my grandfather and it was covered when we met with her and signed the papers. Then she had the nerve to call my grandmother the day of the viewing and inform her she made a little mistake and my grandmother actually did not have a vault and that she was going to have to come and give her a check that day. Absolutely the worst experience and I will be sure to file complaints to as many people as I can.

My grandparents had Graves here since their daughter passed away in 1992. When my grandfather passed away Saturday they took every opportunity to try and sell my grandmother and my mother every service they have. They lied to her about having a vault, even tho they had already signed a contract saying otherwise. Then today when we went to lay him to rest we had to bring our own chairs and weren't provided a tent to shelter us from the rain. My 74 year old grandmother had to be covered in umbrellas and sit on my suit jacket because the chairs were soaked. Absolutely unacceptable. My grandfather was a war vet and a fire chief for the community for 40 years.

Roselawn WAS a great cemetery But they were bought by and out of state company. Since then it has really went down. They have an inspection on the vaults that cost you even if you have bought the vault from them. Just a way to rip the people off. They are very rude when talking to them. They aren’t keeping up the cemetery like the other company did. I know there really aren’t that many cemetery here too choose from. I have a lot of my family buried there but I’m very dissatisfied with the new owners.nnI’m replying to the company’s comments on my review. Why do you have to inspect the vaults? You may have been inspecting the vaults before but my family has used this cemetery for years and never had to pay a inspection fee.

My family and I had to bury my grandmother the day after her funeral because Roselawn would not accommodate us. It was pouring the rain and they would not put a tent or chairs out for us. Disgraceful.

The fees they charge to put a marker on a grave is RIDICULOUS! I don't know how these people sleep at night.
