I contracted with Derek to make 8 chairs, gave him a cash deposit. He said they'd be ready in 2 weeks, in 6 weeks he had not finished and said deal is off or I could pay him double the price to complete.I said no thank- you, he has refused to refund my deposit. Buyer beware.
