I am biased as warning but the coffee is always good and they give you a little bit of choice too. Whether just espresso or a latte or even a mocha its always came out good for me. But especially the pastries are absolutely great. But treats if you need some coffee.

The espresso based drinks are sublime and they have their own croissanterie (hello buttery bliss), BUT what makes this place exceptional is their ability to connect with their customers DURING A PANDEMIC. I have been so impressed with finesse with which my drinks are prepared and how every person that I have interacted with has made me remember what it was like to have community with my local businesses. Highly recommend

They only allow online ordering at this time. The website is clunky and not user friendly. The double shot flavored latte is significantly more expensive then other coffee houses.When I arrived to the final payment screen, it automatically added a tip. It is insulting to me as a customer to have a tip already added to my bill and not one person has made direct contact.nnAlso, 15 minute wait for a latte?nnI don't think I will come back here, not because of coffee, but because of a bad customer experience. There are plenty of other independent coffee shops to visit.

My only request is that you offer a bigger size option. My latte and breakfast sandwich were AMAZING. Super nice gentleman helped me with figuring out their online order system.

Comet is an incredible coffee shop. It’s by far my favorite coffee and bakery shop in STL - bar none. They sell phenomenal coffee from outstanding roasters and complete the package with some of the finest pastries I have ever eaten. This is something I must emphasize again: their bakery products are incredible. Croissants so crisp and flakey on the outside and like the heavens’ own clouds on the inside; delicious pies with tasteful - and often local/native - fillings and impeccable crust; and a rotating menu of other fantastic baked goods to make your mouth water. I’ve been frequenting Comet for years and their quality - especially the consistency of their quality - has always impressed. The folks a Comet are quite evidently passionate and skilled and I cannot recommend them enough.
