Massage Envy

If I could give zero stars I would. Very unprofessional staff. I called 3 times to cancel my membership and they refused to cancel. Telling me they will send an email with the required information and they never follow through. Called in again, they refused to cancel . Do not sign up with this company. They tell you one thing when you sign up and everything after that becomes and inconvenience or additional chargers. Can never even get an appointment an the locations that’s convenient. DO NOT SIGN UP!

This is one of the worst establishments I have ever experienced. In my last massage just before the pandemic the therapist coughed, blew his nose on the towel he used on me and threw them on the floor. I left early and told them to never book me with him again. Then, as a member of Massage Envy they verbally promised to hold all payments during the pandemic unless there contacted me and I gave permission. They lied and started to charge my account . When I contacted them for a refund the manager could not have had a poorer attitude that basically came across as “we have your money so too bad”. She refused to give me the owners contact information. I had no alternative other to resign which lost 4 massages they owed me from previous payments. Do not go there and definitely do not join. The attitude, dishonesty and customer service is horrific. Beware.

From what was supposed to be a relaxing massage equated to a very unpleasant, cold & regrettable experience. My sister and I arrived on time just to wait outside on a chilly, fall morning for over 20 min. for not only my sister’s late therapist (we understand, things happen) but also awaiting a COVID screening text, which we didn’t receive until after our designated appt time. Not only was the arrival completely chaotic, we were the only clients at the time & waited in the cold. My sister’s appt was scheduled 15 min after mine, including having a late therapist.. she finished before me + had to wait outside again. How? This is unfortunate as she typically enjoys it and is a regular and thought this would be a nice gift for me. I love massages but my massage was awful, I couldn’t wait for it to be over. The room was so cold on top of waiting outside initially, my body began to ache more. I had no instruction on what to do, I doubt the therapist really wanted to talk or touch anyone.. I had to guess what to do next as far as changing or even being instructed where to go during escorting. It was so unpleasant and as someone who is always happy, it’s unfortunate to write this. Truly hope this team gets the help they need. Wishing them the best as I do not wish to reach out to anyone add’l as someone should be in touch with unsatisfied customers. No response or recommendations needed for validation for me but thank you in advance.

Ashley at the front desk is beyond rude and aggressive. She seems to think she’s doing you a favor by doing her job. Not sure how it’s ok to tell a customer that “she’ll meet outside” very professional and violent. She actually had to be escorted out of the room. All because I dared to question if they were running late and if so, why. Which they were. After the time my appointment was supposed to start, they finally told me the masseuse hadn't even arrived for work! This is the least relaxing spa- Ever! Only go if you’re looking to be talked down to and have long waits. Look at the other recent reviews. When will management do something??

My wife cancelled her membership several times (which is paid for with my card) and she was told it was taken care of and that there would be no more charges, but each time, after a few months, they start charging my card again. Not a trustworthy establishment.
