St Stanislaus Cemetery

My 19 year old son passed away on July 12 2017 and I must say I have never had to deal with anything so difficult and painful in my life. and I had to find a final resting place for my son and myself and my family. And I must say they helped me out so much and they weren't out to bleed me dry financially. Out of all the cemeteries I looked at .this Cemetery was very well kept up and they respect all that are laid to rest there . I purchased a beautiful headstone from this Cemetery and I also bought a total of 8 plots to make sure my whole family would be laid to rest there together. and one thing that made the decision very easy is that it's a non-profit Cemetery. they make sure that the cemetery is taken care of very well inside and out. they make sure there's no trash even with all the rain they kept the grass down and cut they trim around every headstone with care. And for all the gentleman that run and maintain the grounds there I thank you. Forrest W Cox Sr . And for those that I've read your reviews that only give it a one star because of how early they close it's only because it usually gets dark around 4:30 and it keeps the vandals out of the cemetery . But during daylight savings time its open Monday through Thursday from 8am to 7 pm and Friday and Sunday 8am to 8 pm .that was one of my big decisions on picking this Cemetery there's a cemetery on German Hill Road that they say they keep the gates open for the police to drive through. But I learned just by driving through it people are vandalizing a lot of headstones that does not happen at the cemetery because they do close it when it gets dark. Now the cemetery is Under New Management and I have been talking with them about leaving it open later during the week during the spring summer and fall since the sun is out longer. And they said that they are working on that as of right now to make it happen. So for those they're discouraged about it closing or I get it I had the same concern but it protects your loved ones in there.

Wonderfully maintained cemetery. I recently a purchased a monument from the cemetery to be installed on our family lot. The product was beautiful, with fantastic attention to detail. The manager and crew go above and beyond to take care of their customers. Very pleased.

This cemetery really needs to be open a bit longer. 4:30pm everyday is not a wise choice to be non accessible for folks to pay their respects to departed loved ones.Especially for people who work. I suggest at the very least staying open till 6pm.

I have members of my family resting in this cemetery. Very pleased with the maintenance crew, it is clean, gras is well taking care of in the summer.

I can't wait to have this as my finally resting place!
