The workers there are disrespectful lost a lot of respect for them. Went to go visit my grandparents and great uncle and aunt with my little brother. On our way out my little brother asked me to pull over for a quick second so he could get something in Pokémon go. Where he asked me to stop on the way out was in front of a van and within a minute of being parked on the side the worker told me to leave. Am I not supposed to see my family? Couldn’t let my little brother have a little joy during a sad moment? Also I have seen their workers driving on the grass which I can only assume they had to drive on top of tombstones so keep an eye out on your family’s tombstones for cracks due to that.

The burial grounds are very beautiful and well maintained but with that is constant maintenance going on every time I go there to visit my loved ones. Landscaping guys cutting grass literally right next to me as I’m trying to have a sacred moment. Drilling/banging noises from the workers making the slabs in the mausoleum. It’s anything but peaceful when I go. They should try doing it after hours or before it opens. It’s happened at least 6 times now. Other than that it’s a beautiful

Growing up in Baltimore County, I see change everywhere and not always in the good direction.nA constant has always been Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens. Meticulous detail to the grounds has always been priority one.nIt is nice to see high standards kept and continuing on even today.

They routinely drive over and break grave markers... You'll see markers that have been caved in in the center and this is why...In addition, I've placed flowers on my mothers grave, and had them thrown away within 24 hours as they were burying someone near my mothers grave...and while doing so, they broke my mothers marker ...it just seems if you have that little respect for the dead / the loved ones who visit, perhaps you should find another line of work...paying thousands of dollars for internment and then them treating the grave like that feels like them flipping you the bird...nnUpdate to the original post: Just wanted to provide an update to give credit where credit was due...They just replaced the grave marker that they broke, free of charge...So, they've made amends.

The grounds are always lovely. Memorial Day honors that they hold every year are beautiful.
