I have been working with Mitch to transfer ownership of my dad's grave plot and vault to my name to donate to charity. Mitch is amazing, great communicator and easy to talk to. The team at Dignity rolled out the red carpet to make sure my needs were met and I wasn't even buying a funeral service. The team does care about you and your family's wishes no matter what.
On November 3, I met with the folks at Holly Hill Cemetery to work on final preparations for my dear aunt who had passed from a long struggle with dementia. We all know that these are the days that none of us look forward to, but they are unavoidable. I hit many barriers and the team at Holly Hill went above and beyond to honor my aunt’s wishes. They were patient, kind and worked with me to find solutions so that I could honor my aunt’s wishes. My brother, who has special needs was with me and the staff spent time with him for hours, allowing him to entertain them with constant laughter and discussion. It’s rare to find a group of people who are able to handle any type of situation with such tenderness, patience and ease. I’m so grateful for the team at Holly Hill. Mitch was absolutely fantastic. He treated our family with respect and didn’t push us into anything we didn’t want. He did give us some helpful suggestions to get us through the process. This winter brought a lot of snow and ice making the memorial gardens a sloppy muddy mess but we wanted to make sure Dad’s marker was in place by Easter and it was taken care of the following day along with fill dirt and seed. He even gave my mom some flowers to put on his grave. Awesome job Mitch. Thank You Holly Hills !!
Out of my darkness and into the light! Nothing but glorious things to say about these folks. From the beautiful grounds, to the employees beautiful faces there to greet you in your time of grief. Thank you Holly Hill staff and especially thank you to Mitch. A perfect remedy to my time of need.
It took months to get my fathers bronze and granite in. It has been vandalized with spray paint and glue on his bronze as well as glue on the granite by a non family member. I spoke with Brian, our counselor, who assured me that it would be taken care of ASAP. That was well over a year ago. I was promised that the grave would be fixed and the person responsible would be charged and nothing has happened. So disappointed. When I go to visit my dear dad I have to look at the ugly mess on his grave and it hurts.
