Great cemetery well kept. Workers are very helpful they can find graves in a flash. Ladies in office very sincere to help with the process of losing your loved ones.

The cemetery itself is well kept. The people who help make the arrangements and order the stones and plots are not very friendly. Given the situation as to why my family was there, it would have been nice for them to have shown more compassion.

The staff Member Karen helped my Mother an I when my father passed away(Heinle), she was very sympathetic an compassionate. 6mths since his passing and the grass is as high as my knee, I can place flowers on my Fathers an Brother grave in the vase, but unfortunately I'm unable to place flowers on my Grandparents until the grass is mowed.

In December 2016 my family members noticed a crack and a chip in our mother and father granite marker. We also, noticed a freshly dug grave next to our parents grave site. We contacted the front office and the president of Oak Lawn Cemetery and informed them of this situation but all we got was the run around. Contacted the Maryland Office of Cemetery Oversight to no avail. Finally gave in and our family paid $175.00 to have the granite stone replaced. We feel Oak Lawn Cemetery should have held the parties who dug the grave next to our parents accountable for this damage. We feel we paid for someones negligence and no one stepped up to admit they caused the damage. Needless to say Oak Lawn Cemetery will no longer get any of my family's business.
