This is a very nice tour. Logan was our guide. He spoke very clearly and was very knowledgeable. This tour sheds light on the history of plantations and slavery. The tour includes the house and out buildings. The occupants and their roles in it's history. This is genuinely informative. It was well worth the trip from our vacation to the French Quarter. Note - ask for Logan when you book it.

I don't normally write reviews often, but of the four plantations we toured, Laura was our favorite! Jay (I believe was his name) was our tour guide and did a phenomenal job of taking you through history! The layout of the tour is linear, so it was much easier to follow family lines. There was no sugar coating of the regretful past/nature of these homes, and I believe, they did a great job at including as much history as they could about the enslaved that lived here. Often times this is hard to accomplish with the lack of written records from the enslaved themselves or the plantation owners, but Laura did a great job. If you're looking for a great historical tour, this is the one!

You can really feel the history in the Laura plantation. Our tour guide, I believe her name was Crystal?, was amazing. Very knowledgeable of the plantation, very kind and personable. I truly enjoyed this tour and would recommend it to everyone. The rest of the staff were amazing as well. Very light hearted and friendly.

Great place to visit! Kyle was our guide. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the plantation and the historic context. Actually, he is a creole descendant so he has a very valuable insight and interest in the subject. We got lucky to have him!

We had a good visit here. We took the guided tour and found it to be informative and engaging. The tours should be a bit longer though because our guide said she had more info she wanted to share with us but didn't have enough time.
