It’s cool to pull up photos of the day they were ambushed (the only way anyone was going to get these two) and look at the site now and compare the drastic changes that only time can make to our surroundings. I come here often just to enjoy the ride on the ol Indian.
As you drive up this road towards the fateful spot, you can see why teh marshals chose it, it was a turkey shot as they call it in the states, but everyone knew Bonnie and Clyde would not be taken alive, it sure was crazy times. a very memorable place to visit.
Good to have here. Would be nice if people wouldn't write on the monuments. Take a photo with it... no one cares about your name, or the relationship you are in that has probably ended by now.
Fascinating! A must see for other dark tourists ♡♡
It was cool driving down the same road as this crazy couple. But the actual site is riddled with graffiti and other vandalism. So sad.
