This place has the most helpful staff of any grocery in this town. Mrs. Smith herself is a true gem and has been here at least 20 years and can and will answer anything you need. Personally, the cleanliness of this store, it's well-stocked shelves, and the use of my Ingles card to bring the prices down are among the reasons I keep coming. Well, that and I really like the variety of certain items that aren't offered elsewhere. I love the cheese selection, the meats are great, and their rotisserie chicken salad is bar none. To be honest, after about a year on top of a mountain alone with my dogs, going to the hugeness of a box store is scary. Ingles is calm, quiet, and safe. Did I mention quiet? And people are usually fully dressed in here. I mean, I'm all for freedom of expression. But after this last year, I don't really want or need anymore shock in my life. So I'm going to stick to quiet, calm, dependable, has everything I need and not the surprises I don't want, Ingles. And, as a bonus, my inept self finally figured out how to work the card reader thingy at the pump. I got a whole tank of gas for like, 16$. I pulled in on fumes!! That whole buy food, get money off gas thing is awesome!

Clean clean clean! Undoubtedly the best meat in town! Everything else is a bit more pricey but the sales make it worth while.

Oh my goodness! This place has the best cakes in the county, not to sweet, just right! And i would like to thank Susan in the Deli she separated my cheese like its supposed to be and the meat was perfect!

Everything is always so clean. The produce looks fantastic. It seems I can always find what I'm looking for to buy. Only downside is the self checkout. ud83dude42
