Due to the pandemic I am unable to see my family right now so my mother from Florida placed an order for delivery as a birthday surprise. I get a knock on the door and was shocked... on my porch chair sat 2 plain unlabeled white boxes on top of each other and a smaller unmarked clear container which I could see held 2 cupcakes. I see a woman walking down my driveway back to the car she turns around and says your cake and cookies. I said thank you finally understanding what it actually was my mother had told me to look out for a package but I didn't expect this. I pick up the boxes from the chair and start heading back into the house and I'm looking at the cupcakes in the clear container trying to figure out what they are if they were pumpkin or carrot cake but all I knew was I could not wait to bite into one. I called my husband from the other room to see what I'm bringing into the house he meets me in the kitchen I open up the two plain white boxes and in one is 12 cupcakes and then the other a cake I could clearly smell the peanut butter coming from the frosting with happy birthday wishes to me. I was so excited I didn't know what to do first now I knew I couldn't cut the Cake until tomorrow that's my actual birthday but the two cupcakes alone in the clear unmarked package kept drawing my attention my mother knows how much I love carrot cake so I figured she ordered them special and maybe that's why they were separate. I opened it up and I thinking I'm smelling the peanut butter from the frosting on the cake not realizing he's actually coming from the 2 cupcakes. I start unwrapping one... I break it in half and I see it's carrot cake and I take the bottom half and put it on the top half where the frosting is like a little cupcake sandwich. As I'm doing this I'm calling my mom to thank her. I take a bite into my cupcake sandwich and realize it doesn't taste sweet at all it has a weird aftertaste peanut butter but how can peanut butter be on carrot cake I'm thinking my nose is playing tricks on me from the cake I still have open so I put my cupcake sandwich down and I start reboxing the cake and cupcakes so I can put them in the fridge... my Mom answers the phone I have her on speaker while I'm putting everything away my cupcake sandwich just waiting for me to get back to it but I'm still tasting peanut butter in my mouth and I'm looking at this like carrot cake should not have peanut butter I start talking to my mom I let her know I got everything and I say to her I'm not sure about these carrot cake cupcakes I think they messed up and put the wrong frosting on it taste like peanut butter. She's like those are for the dogs their pupcakes didn't you see the little bone on them I said there's no bone on them they weren't marked at all they just look good so I went for them first! Moral of the story if you get unmarked packages make sure you call whoever sent them first to find out what's in them! So now to the more serious issue because in reality that was pretty funny in my perspective I know there can't be anything in it that would hurt me so I'm really not worried about it... your packaging really should be marked that is an issue even if you just wrote on it with a black sharpie something to indicate that this is for the dogs but not only that all your boxes should at least have your logo or sticker saying where it came from because I had no clue who to contact until I spoke to my mother about it. The birthday cake was overbaked and dry the frosting was overly sweet we couldn't eat it I wound up throwing more then 3/4 of it away... the cupcakes that my mother ordered were specialty cupcakes off of your menu I got six vanilla cupcakes six chocolate cupcakes the six vanilla cupcakes got thrown away. My mother spent all this money on stuff that just went into the garbage! When she tried to contact you to try to rectify the issue to some extent for such horrible quality and service she received no response. Do not waste your money at this shop if you want good quality and service go to small cakes!
