We cannot speak highly enough of Tyler Hartley and her wonderful music instruction. Tyler is inspiring, talented, and expects students to do their best. Her great teaching is transferable beyond music, too. Her messages about creating habits around practice and persevering through challenges are lessons that help students thrive in all areas, not just music. She keeps her students updated on community concerts and events so that students have opportunities to appreciate the beautiful music they study and to become inspired by professionals. She not only wants students to learn the skill and beauty of their own instruments, but she also encourages them to support the broader community of music. A personal highlight: the recitals. Her students are all so talented. I could listen to those lovely harps forever!

My child has been taking violin lessons from Mr. Gregory for 2 years. Beginning instruction in her mid-teen years, she had no prior experience on the violin and no knowledge of how to read sheet music. Some would consider this rather late to begin music lessons, but Mr. Gregory's teaching style and knowledge has been instrumental in my child achieving much within this time. Under Mr. Gregory's instruction she has excelled in her performance skills and musicality. Her confidence has grown and she has had opportunity within the Glissando Music School to participate in recitals (during COVID restrictions the School provides recital opportunities via video conferencing so that the students don't miss out). Mr. Gregory is personable and professional and it is apparent that he is genuinely invested in his student's musical development. He clearly sets his expectations while inspiring the student to achieve. For almost one year, my child's instruction has been virtual, via video conferencing, so that we may comply with COVID guidelines. The virtual instruction has gone extremely well and has not hindered my child's instruction--this speaks volumes for how well Mr. Gregory teaches. I highly recommend Mr. Gregory and the Glissando Music School.

Ryan has a natural way of teaching students. My daughter often says he makes more sense than what she is learning in school. She has learned a lot in the short time with him. He is encouraging, patient, and fun. I highly recommend Glissando Music School!

I am in my 60's, and am a beginning harpist! Tyler is a wonderful teacher; she is very personable and patient, as well as an accomplished harpist. Her new studio is lovely. Very conveniently located, and near the Atlanta Harp Center so I can go to my lesson and then hop over to browse through music and accessories if i want to! I would recommend Tyler to anyone looking to learn how to play the harp or to improve their skills.

We couldn't be happier with Ryan and Tyler. Having two children in music lessons can be time consuming and costly. They've made learning music enjoyable for our children which eliminated the arguments we previously had about practicing. Now they love seeing how much they've improved. Worth every penny!
