Walked in on a Saturday, just before closing time. Emily was so patient and super helpful and knowledgeable. I’ve driven past Beau Vinci hundreds of times. Entering the quaint house was like visiting an old friend. Upon entering, Emily had me sit in the parlour (super quaint) while she retrieved a cello from the basement [super cool :-)]. The cello I’m renting looks really nice and is of high quality wood and other materials. Sounds good too. I received a nice carrying case and the ever-important bow and rosin. Emily was so helpful in providing a list of potential teachers in the area. The monthly rental rate is very reasonable. Emily showed me how to care for the cello, and I had a chance to play it as well after a short, careful tutorial. Great experience, especially for an adult who is a newcomer to cello playing.

Emily and Michael have a passion for making music come alive and available to all. They went above and beyond to help my daughter find her viola. Whether you’re looking to learn or have been playing for years, they will make you feel like you were destined to play all along. Go pay them a visit. You won’t regret it!

This place is beautiful. I stumbled in with a student violin that I thought was broken. Emily met me, examined my instrument, made a quick fix (adjusting the bridge) and then she gave me some care & feeding tips, since I'm completely new to the violin.nnNow, I actually know how to tune & hold this contraption! Looking forward to learning the instrument. And I know that I can go back to Emily for help along the way.nnI really appreciate the helpful advice.

My relationship with Beau Vinci Violins is that of a consignor and it is a relationship that goes back many years. First and foremost I must say that Emily has been straightforward and forthright throughout more than seven years working with her. Professional, organized and detailed, she has also been easy to work with. I’ve always enjoyed how clean and neat and beautifully designed her shop is and also appreciate the wide variety of inventory she carries. Further, it has been a pleasure observing her as she works with her clients. Highly recommended.

My daughter needed a new violin quickly, and her violin teacher recommended Beau Vinci to us. We live in TN, so I contacted them through their website, and they called me first thing the next morning. Emily talked to me about what they had in our price range. She made videos of herself playing each of the violins we were considering and emailed the videos to me. When we had made a decision, she walked me through all the financial details and financing. 2 days later, we had a beautiful new violin delivered. My daughter was beyond excited and thankful to have a new violin that is not only beautiful but that sounds amazing and stays in tune. My husband and I have so much gratitude for the help we received from Emily at Beau Vinci Violins. She definitely went above and beyond to make sure our daughter had what she needed. Beau Vinci’s customer service is outstanding, and we will return to them without hesitation for our daughter’s next violin in the future.
