I had dealt with this company, it is a nightmare for them to delivery a refrigerator. They need 2 people stay home and help them unload a fridge. Bob is the gentleman in charge, very rude and unprofessional. If you are looking for something reliable, please look somewhere else. Do not waste your money here.
PRO#00400325 - Volunteer advised the consignee they would be out for delivery 4 times so far since pickup on 6/19. It's currently 7/1 and they advised it would be out today again. Nobody has come yet and nobody has called to cancel. Multiple no-shows with no communication at all. Not only is this bad service but it is extremely disrespectful. This poor person has taken multiple days off of work to receive their shipment. This is not the first bad experience I have had w/ Volunteer. A small company who should be great w/ service. Get it together.
Can't imagine how they can make money. I ordered 25 boxes of chairs from a company in Canton Ga to delivered to my company in Marietta, less than 30 miles away. The chairs were picked up 8/31 and taken to Chattanooga, TN where they spent the better part of the day and from there to a terminal in Marietta GA (12 miles away) where they have been sitting for 2-3 days. No one seems to when or if we will get our shipment. If you need a timely delivery, call someone else.
The bosses rush and hurry the drivers give them 15 minutes to do a pre trip and trip planning and eat breakfast and to get ready for their day. And they want you to do 3 delivery in a hour with computer work and plan your next delivery. Worst company I ever work for by a long shot stay away. The money is great not worth how they treat their drivers.
