Usually manage to find what I'm looking for, and then some
I love TJMaxx. They have really good deals on skin care, hair products, shoes, clothing and accessories, along with household items. The checkout line was long but it moved fast.
Terrible wait to check out. 15+ minutes with only half registers being used. Should not make customers wait in lines with 20+ people. Need to manage wait times better and get more efficient staff.
Clean, well organized store that is well stocked in every department. Clerks are polite, cheerful and follow all covid-19 precautions. This store keeps track of the number of customers inside at all times and has 6' spacing marked off outside for potential customers to line up and wait. Masks are required to enter and one will be provided if you need one. Carts are cleaned and separated from used ones, and one set of doors is used exclusively for entering and another for exiting. Has large Juniors and Ladies department, and adequate Women's and men's. Excellent place to go to find a cute and different holiday decoration or serving piece. Linens department is extensive and offers a big variety of styles/colors for both bed and bath. Furniture, area rugs, lamps, artwork, mirrors and decorative pieces are offered. Has a large kitchen/foodstuffs area.
After standing in line for 20 minute (not a problem at all) and stand in front of the cashier for 10 additional minutes (also not a problem she was very sweet) because the oily hair care product made the sticker price label fall off the bottle the manager had an associate look for a product on her phone to check the price. The associate indicated that she could not find it on their website but did see a price on a unrelated site.nnI expressed to the Manager that the sticker indicated that the price was $3.99 and that I would take additional time and go retrace my steps to find the sticker. She then said to me, “Well, you know you don’t have to purchase it.” This is definitely a moment of staying the obvious and was not a necessary statement after I waited patiently and respectfully.nnI did in fact find the sticker (the associate that attempted to do a price check happen to be there when I found it and helped pull the price up).nnUltimately, the only thing that garners me rating you all a 2 is how a manager chose to respond. I had absolutely no reason to lie about the price of the produce. Nevertheless, please be a bit more professional when you respond to others in that manner.nnThank you to the cashier and price check associate for being professional and apologetic. You all deserve a 5 for your professionalism.
