Beautiful setting with Mt Olympus in the background. Great place to visit my husband! I haven't had any problems here. ❀

My brother was buried here two and a half years ago. Both parents signed over their rights being they did not want to pay for him or deal with anything. My name is on the death certificate and estate notarized paperwork. My mother passed away June 16, her family was caught lying at the medical examiners office and the mortuary. When they got caught lying I was called and being I am the child of the deceased I had to be in charge. The family begged to get the ashes, they were allowed to with the stipulation they do not put her with my brother or by my brother at Elysian. They broke the contract and took her to Elysian and Harold had been advised they were not allowed to put her with my brother and he was shown the legal documents. Harold then sent me on a wild goose chase to the courts for more documents and to have an attorney call him? I did both to which the court advised I had the correct legal documents, when I had the attorney contact him, Harold refused to speak to her? I called the police and was advised the cemetery should not be allowing for this to happen being I have the legal documents. Now I am finding out Harold still is allowing the family to bury her there. Harold is refusing to give information of the owner or board of trustees, he says he in charge? But will not answer yes or no if he is the owner. Whether he does not understand the law or just completely ignores it? This is one of the most horrendous experiences I have had, a death is one thing having a cemetery caretaker harass you in such a manner is absolutely absurd.

The grounds are always in immaculate condition. The groundskeepers are always so sweet and thoughtful. Today went I went and visited my dad’s grave. I saw he had just mowed my section and was heading north. I thought - oh what perfect timing. I sat there and wrote in my journal for a while. I finally looked up after probably 30 minutes and noticed him parked under a tree about 100 yards away. Over the next 20 minutes I was enjoying the birds chirping, the sound of the wind hitting the leaves, the smell of fresh cut grass and enjoyed the pure bliss. During that time I looked his way a couple times and just thought he must be on break. Well come to find out, he finished all the way to the fence and then came back for round two. He stopped about 20 yards north of me to go around me and park his mower. It finally clicked that he needed to finish the second round where I was lying. He didn’t come and interrupt me. He let me have that moment. I am forever grateful for him and this beautiful property we decided to burry our loved ones. πŸ™πŸΌπŸ’œπŸ™πŸΌπŸ’œπŸ™πŸΌπŸ’œπŸ™πŸΌπŸ’œπŸ™πŸΌ

Beautiful cemetery! On somewhat of a whim, I decided to stop by this place and see the place my great grandparents are buried since it was Memorial Day weekend and I knew the graves would be decorated. I didn’t plan ahead, so I had no idea where specifically my ancestors were buried. I went in to the office and told the workers who I was looking for. They printed off a map with their graves marked and then verbally explained where I needed to go. I’m so thankful for those nice, helpful people and for how immaculately kept these grounds are.

It's a beautiful, smallish cemetery. There are always flowers around. Many people with loved ones there visit often. It's very peaceful. I often see people there walking.
