It’s not often I feel compelled to give a 5 star review. As the owner of local landscaping business I’ve had too many great experiences with American stone in Murray, with several different employees in different departments and I cannot contain myself! I must recommend their services as all of my interactions have been nothing but helpful and professional! Thanks guys

I walked in and two people looked at me...and then back down to what they were doing. I picked one, got her attention, and stated that I had never been to the store and was looking for small stone options for my plants. I was told to drive onto a scale to be weighed and the check options at the back of the lot. I drove onto a scale. There was no indication that my weight was taken or that I should get off the scale. I waited. I finally left to search the options. I found one that might work. I didn’t have a container. I returned to the front to once again state that I had never been to this store. I was told I had to pay for a bag to carry the stones. I get the bag and again walk to the back of the lot for the stone. No shovel. No scoop. I returned the bag and went to Home Depot. It would have been supremely helpful to have had some kind of communication from the woman at the front who seemed put off by my presence. I can’t buy your stone without a basic understanding of how this works or where things are.

Wade Potter and the rest of the crew did a great job taking care of us. We ordered 3 tons of Montana Rainbow stone for a strip between a concrete drive and a grass. Long story short, we though we'd ordered the 3" cobble but somehow we ended up with 1.5" pebbles. We caught it after about 2 wheel barrels full were dumped and called Wade. He called back pretty quickly and made arrangements to get us what we ordered without charging us extra. It was exactly the amount we needed. Thank you, American Stone. Highly recommend this company.

I love American Stone! I started going there about 2 years ago when we were finally ready to redo our backyard. We only used the decorative ground cover type rocks, but everything they have is beautiful & high quality. They have huge slabs of sandstone/quartzite/flagstone for patio type work, big river rocks, lava rocks, tiny rainbow pebbles, pavers, stone water features, etc. etc. Seems like whomever owns the place really knows what they’re doing. I will use American Stone for life. Thank you for continuously creating a great experience for your customers. Went into American Stone last week for the first time this season. So sad to see that their prices went up drastically. I do my landscaping all by myself, so a trunk load of rocks in buckets is all I can carry at one time. Since I don’t purchase 1,000 lbs at a time, my checkout price was double what it was last year for the same amount. Really disappointing as I loved this place and had raved about it to family/friends/strangers. The price difference is drastic for us, and we can’t afford to continue to shop here.
