A little pricier than I had anticipated, but the work they do is great. JoAnn is so sweet and very talented. I haven’t had a cut that I loved this much in a long time. Definitely worth it!

Recommended to be the best. Indeed they might be. I never got my hair done here because I'm super cheap and I like to cut corners. Free hair consultation. My hair is at shoulder length, 80% virgin hair (no dye or added chemicals), and it's dark brown. I was quoted 185$ for 2 sessions to go to a caramel color/ blonde high lights? Idk the whole pricing but they know all the techniques of Balayage. Just not my price range. :) recommend if you have money to burn.

It truly was a beautiful experience. I am new resident here in Virginia and my big fear was to be able to find a hair stylist. My daughter help me to search and read all the comments from a number of places, Style By Design was at the top. The place is pleasant, well design and comfortable furniture. My stylist was Syd and he did a superb job, I'm so very pleased and I feel so good and well taken care like never before. It is important to mention that I'm not new in this business and I have visited many places all around the world, and with great pleasure I can assure you that if you are looking for a job well done, this is the place because here is Syd. My hair looks much better than ever before and my face looks radiant in my new look. Thank you Syd! You are a Master!!!
