Hidden glory. Priceless, pristine quality, historically important antiques, with a knowledgeable, helpful, and honest staff. Walked in to look at one thing and stayed for an hour!! Best shop in old town.

Pierre has a genuine passion for and deep knowledge of mid century modern, his shop is a treasure trove of curated design finds for all kinds of budgets, and spending time there is an absolute joy. He’ll work within your needs and call your attention to details you may not have considered. I’d highly recommend a visit—and chat!

Great place to find true original mid century and Danish modern pieces that have been personally curated by the proprietor. I don’t know of another place like it on the east coast.nnThe reviewer saying prices are high is most likely comparing ACME to other “modern” furniture places that sell very low quality mass produced modern items. I would not make the mistake of putting ACME in the same category.nnOwner is very helpful and honest. I enjoy stopping in and chatting when I have a few minutes. He’ll even make you an espresso if it’s not too busy.
