Bakemiacake

I don’t normally post negative reviews as I try to focus on the positive. However; in this case, I’m just so disappointed. I contacted Bakemiacake several weeks before my event. We agreed on a Vegas themed 2-tier cake design, price, and I paid a 50% deposit. A few days later I asked her if we could change the date from Sunday to Saturday and she said no problem. I followed up with her the Monday before the event on Saturday to confirm time to pick up on Saturday. All good or so I thought. She was supposed to send me a picture of the finished product, so I could Venmo the balance. I followed up with her at 3:00 and she said she had gotten the days mixed up. So it’s now 3:00 the day of my event that starts at 6:00 and I have NO CAKE. She felt terrible. I realize I changed the date of the party, but it was only a couple of days after we had talked and still 3 weeks away from the party. Completely unprofessional and very, very disappointed as I was so excited about the cake for my husband’s 50th birthday. I hope everything is okay with her and that she learns from this mistake and that this never happens to anyone else.
