Hana Hou Restaurant

We got breakfast burritos which were amazing! The salsa that came with them was perfect. They were so big that I didn’t even finish mine! After a long day at the beach, we came back for dinner. The BBQ pizza was out of this world! The combo of flavors is so fun and it’s piled high with toppings. We also got a char siu plate. The meat and fried rice was excellent. The mac salad is the best I’ve had on the island. Service was friendly and quick both in the morning and evening. The food is reasonably priced and the serving sizes are hearty. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the south side!

Don't listen to the haters. There are some places where they get good reviews because of where they are, and some because of what they provide. This place is both. The staff, the people waiting for food, the whole place makes it a great meal. We came in for breakfast, on our way to the beach, of the three different eaters in our party everyone had a great meal. We chatted with locals, we chatted with a tourist while we waited. My breakfast was moco loco, the patty was hand made and tasty, my eggs were cooked the way I wanted them, the gravy was not out of a can. My picky companions one finished, the other eat the leftovers the next day. Everyone left full, and everyone was happy we stopped. As a side note, It was nice to see that people went to the beach, left came back and had one of their pizzas, actually it was two different groups, but the pizza looked good, and you could tell that they enjoyed it, from smiles and reactions.

We have only had great food here. All of the pizzas are good, the dynamite is off the hook with shrimp and lobster. The dessert are rich and over the top. We will keep going and trying everything. A must when in town.

Everything is delicious. The seafood pizza was incredible. Don't leave without a piece of cream pie. We had the banana, coconut, and key lime pie all were incredible.

Absolutely divine pies. On our way to Mona Loa we made a quick stop and glad we did. It was the best pie we had - if you love nuts then do not miss this place. Also there local coffee is amazing. Another fun fact is it’s the southernmost restaurant of USA. It’s a hidden gem and we are glad we came. The lady who served us was very courteous and fast. We requested to help us with something fast n quick n she made it happen. They are keeping all Covid measures and it’s a take out joint with ample of seating.
