This was a great local grocery store for our trip. I was traveling with several young kids and we cooked most meals instead of eating out. We found this place reasonably priced and they have nice souvenirs.
They are constantly cleaning and sanitizing this store. Hats off to the staff! The selection is great. Kona gold rum cakes are excellent and also the CookKwees maui cookies are a must try! They have many vegan and gluten free options!
Has everything you need for groceries + local varieties + great poke to enjoy at home. Staff is always very friendly and the store is clean.
I know people who work there and say the higher employees treat them unfairly, especially the youth. I didn't want to believe it much but they all say the same story. About how the supervisors and managers don't care about if you need to change your schedule for a day, especially if something unexpected happened to them. Some friends say that they tried to change their schedule because of schooling, family problems, and health but it just won't happen.
There are a lot of boys my age. Good place to practice pickup lines.
